Monday, February 17:

10:00 – Parliament’s Defense and Security Committee is scheduled to hold a hearing with representatives from the Ministry of the Interior regarding public security, the increased incidence of robbery and drug use, and the protection of educational institutions, according to Marsad Majles, the parliamentary watchdog project of NGO Al Bawsala.
10:00 – Parliament’s Committee investigating the deadly bus crash in Amdoun is scheduled to hold a meeting to discuss the contents of the committee’s report and to hear from two people wounded in the accident, according to Marsad Majles, the parliamentary watchdog project of NGO Al Bawsala. 14:00 – Parliament’s Committee on Tunisia Diaspora Affairs is scheduled to hold a hearing with the interim Minister of Transport and the directors general of Tunis-Air and the National Air Travel Company regarding preparations for the two national carriers ahead of the summer season, according to Marsad Majles, the parliamentary watchdog project of NGO Al Bawsala.

Tuesday, February 18:

10:00 – A demonstration is being organized in front of the Tunis II Court of First Instance in support of Aymen Othman, coinciding with the second hearing in the trial of customs officials accused of killing Othman by manslaughter. Othman, 19, died on October 23, 2018 in the Sidi Hassine neighborhood of Tunis after customs officials opened fire.
Wednesday, February 19:
