Monday, August 26:

Tuesday, August 27:
18:00 – As part of the festival hosted by the Tunisian House of Poetry, the female writers group Our Lady of Words is hosting a reading competition. For more information, check the Facebook event link.

10:00 – The NGO Aswat Nissa is holding a book donation drive, requesting books relating to feminism, gender, masculinity and public policy. Those wishing to donate are requested to contact Aswat Nissa via this link.

18:30 – A second iteration of a “tutorial for citizens” on the topic of “how to evaluate a candidate” is being held. The Facebook event is in French and does not indicate what language the event will be held in. A nearly identical event had been scheduled in the same location and hosted by the same group on Friday July 26, led by Sami Bahri, whose biography describes him as the advisor to the “president of the National Constituent Assembly [the temporary legislative authority that governed Tunisia from 2011 to 2014]” and secretary general of the dimo:qratiyoun association.
